Goddamn has it been a long time since I've posted on here Mainly cause I didn't really have anything to post about. Also because I have been having to much fun posting on Tumblr. The reason being is because I like how the Tumblr layouts are generally clean and more friendly. I like the layout I have for this blog but it still has that nasty Blogger feel but whatever. Recently I have gotten some what dumber I started cursing way to much which I'm trying to correct but its fucking hard. I've been listening to hella music lately but I'm kind of stuck in a rut of Odd Future, Lil B, and Salem but I've been trying to listen to the other thousand songs on my zune. I've been writing alot of shitty raps that I eventually want to record to some of my beats or something. I also Think I have gotten way better at making beats since this summer. A large portion of my beats have a dark feel which I like but I'm trying to broaden my sound a bit which is hard cause I started with the intentions of making dark beats. I'm probably going to be posting on here more because I have all this stuff that I want to say but I cant put it on my Tumblr because Tumblr is the twitter of blogs. Also Im stoked that Odd future is getting some coverage Tyler is going to be on Jimmy Fallon on the 16th which is good but also bad cause now there are going to be a lot of shitheads listening to them but whatever. Ok so this has been something I have been thinking about for awhile and since I haven't made a post lately I thought I'd talk about this. So if you haven't noticed that there is a recent trend with black people's fashion it's gotten more fitted and mildly punkish. I have noticed that we have adopted leather jackets studs and ripped jeans which would have be trendy if it wasn't 2010. Punk fashion is about 20 years old and were just now catching on. And I'm pretty sure that the same people that were making fun of white kids dressing in tight jeans are now wearing the very same jeans. That's idiotic, we'll disregard something to the fullest one day then hop on the bandwagon the next day. Not that I have anything wrong with the black population gaining a better sense of fashion but I do have a problem with how black people are with *higher fashion. They instantly get the feeling that they can talk down to you just cause there shoes match their shirt and they'll talk down to you if you don't dress like they do but then if you do dress like them they'll say "nigga get off my swag". Now onto our recent adoption of 80's dressing, that shit is not new its already been done IN THE 80'S STOP BRINGING OLD STUFF BACK. Seriously we are so behind on fashion we do things that white people (not trying to be stereotypical but white people are at the pinnacle of high fashion) have been doing for year's and we think it's some brand new shit when it's really not.

Ok so you know my weird ass has mainly been listening to Lil B. But now I found some new good shit to play on repeat. I found out about these dudes about 2 weeks ago through a "Youtube Hole" (you should already know what that means) the song was "Blade" by Earl Sweatshirt and I was hooked like a motherfucker. I proceeded to visit there site the next day cause in the video description it said that I could get "Radical" for free and I generally don't pass up free music, especially free music that I like. So the first thing I downloaded was "Earl" I played that night and I was like "ohh shit this nigga is raw as fuck." Couch, Stapelton, and epaR are my favorites but I listen to the whole album no song skips. But it's so short which is a good and bad thing. Then I downloaded "Bastard" which I had to hunt for on other sites cause that link is shit anyway Tyler, the Creator is really fucking dark, and I have been blasting dark shit for awhile now not even going to lie I was indifferent about Tyler at first but "Bastard" completely changed my opinion Bastard, Tina, and VCR/Wheels are my favorites but who cares. Ayy whoever runs the OF tumblr you need to re-upload "YelloWhite" and "Bastard" cause there not there anymore. I listened to "BlackendWhite" for awhile and that nigga Hodgy Beats seriously sounds like Kanye sometimes mainly cause of his pronunciation anyway this album is pretty tight but I have a feeling that I would like "YelloWhite" more. "BlackendWhite" is to angry. I'm not an angry nigga. I'm going to listen to the rest of their other stuff this week. Also I assumed these guys skated for some reason (I don't know why) and I thought they were grown ass men, I was mad surprised that their basically my age.

Ok so I've had this tape on my Zune for about 2 weeks now and I just listened to it in its entirety on Thursday. I was mainly still blasting the Blue Flame tape which for some reason was all I could listen to for days. seriously it's like Lil B has some trance shit going on in his songs that make you play them non stop. Anyway I had listed to a couple tracks but never the entire tape. So I finally said let me listen to some Lil B to cheer me up cause I had a pretty shitty day on Thursday. So now I'm going to do my little review thing on each song. Also I'm going to review them in the order I heard them to give you the full experience.

Track 1: My History - Ok I already listened to this song previously but I didn't really listen to it. Nawadamean. This song is good. I like the little story at the beginning. This further proves B is not just a punchline rapper. "Today was earned my history was burned but today was earned" this is a good line.

Track 2: Lost Tapes - This song was talking to me. B was some saying some real stuff I think about on the daily. Also I like that "let the beat ride out" thing he's been doing lately.

Track 3: Straight Westside - Haha this song has a nice 90's vibe. And that part where he takes a call is classic, that weirdo voice he does is hilarious. This song could be on some 90's mix, no lie.

Track 4: Strike One - Hahaha Lil B is singing on this track. It's kinda like his song Like Me. Straight up he songs like a kid at a talent show.

Track 5: Gold Dust - This song Basically described how I was feeling this day. I was listening to it and the last one minute and forty seconds really spoke to me and just layed out how I was feeling about life. Best song on the tape.

Track 6: The Money - The beat is so raw. And talks about some real stuff going on. I love money but I hate it at the same time and this songs talks about just that.

So right now this is my favorite tape form Lil B. And Blue Flame is right up there with it.

Ok so I have been making tracks since I dropped my album like 5 months ago.
I make tracks here and there but I've been making a lot less music cause my laptop is fucked to hell. The screen is hanging on by a thread like I seriously have to prop it up with a blanket, The battery doesn't even hold a charge and the fan is loud as fuck. So these are not really the best conditions to work with music let alone use it for anything. But anyway i made a couple tracks that I will be uploading to my SoundCloud in the upcoming days. Ok first I must say I was very surprised when I went to Based World and saw that B had created a tribute to MF DOOM one of my favorite rappers period, I seriously have a reason as to why I still love hearing his rhymes. Now as I was downloading the tape I was wondering how it would sound, would B constantly say "Shout outs to MF DOOM", would he mimic his flows and voice, would he rhyme over DOOM's beats or his own. While it was still downloading I was still tripping off the album art. I was like "What is this", I mean you would think B would have a picture of himself with a metal face on. Ohh yeah I forgot he "rides with no mask on". Anyway as I was listening to it for the first time I was like "Ooooh he sound's like DOOM" and he really has the classic hip-hop feel, like you could just play the tape all day and just chill. I really like the direction B has gone recently cause he was clamming he "brought back underground hip-hop" but he really didn't have enough songs to back that statement up, but now he does. Also I'm really happy this tape wasn't sponsored by some corny motherfuckers yelling and messing up tracks. So if you are still a Lil B hater then you should definitely give this tape a listen.

Track 13, Life's A Bitch: He's on some lyrical shit and this beat is awesome. He's talking about how life is like a woman duh.

Track 14, New Orleans: Classic Lil B "Hoe's on my dick" jokes and everything. Also when he's like "Lil one is the best" I cracked up. I wonder who made this beat cause it's amazing.

Track 18, Blue Flame (Remix): Such a good song. Beat is really really good. And a lot of good lines in there. When I was at school I was repeating the start over and over.

What Lil B Is Doing Diffrent

It's been awhile since the last BasedGod post and since listening to copious amounts of Based Freestyles, I have noticed something about Lil B's songs. The thing is he doesn't seem to use traditional beats. I mean a few songs I've heard have absolutely no drums (or at least no powerful drums) and the beats he has are pretty original. I haven't heard any of those generic 808 drum and clap beats. I think Clams Casino is doing a lot of his beats or something. Also his music videos aren't gay as fuck like other rappers, he doesn't show girls shaking their ass, he doesn't go to the hood for video shoots, he directs his own shit, he doesn't show a bunch of niggas in the background that he is supposed to be cool with. Anyway Lil B isn't some bullshit rapper. Basically Lil B is making some interesting and unique music.

Ok I don't know how long my laptops fan has been doing this but it finally got on my nerves. See its making this buzzing noise and IT'S REALLY LOUD. I can go up stairs and I can still hear the buzz loud and clear while two tv's are on. And I've also had to restart it sometimes after I turn it on because it will completely freeze. So I decided to try and open the fan up so I could clean it out, I turns out thats impossible cause their are 100 little screws that I'd have to unscrew and I just do not have time for that. I then decided to clean my keyboard cause I wanted to fix something. After I took off all the keys I found a shit load of crumbs (which is probably what is causing that fan noise). Later I got the vacuum to clean that mess up and now it looks nice.

Do you see that It looks like taco dorito crumbs and fingernails. Nasty.
